Sales Executive - AV Event Technology
A leading provider of Audio Visual and IT Event Technology services, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, polished and aggressive Event Technology Sales Executive to sell audio, video, lighting and IT event technologies to trade show, exhibit, concerts, conventions and corporate meeting group customers.
The ideal candidate will have connections in the event technology sales arena and possess a drive for success and a commanding sense of urgency, yet have a polished and professional approach in building long term, revenue-generating relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Must possess 3+ years proven and documented sales experience.
- Experience targeting, penetrating and selling directly into consumers of event technology in particular Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Professional Services, Banking, and Trade Associations.
- Must have a network of decision maker contacts in the region.
- Knowledge and experience in selling AV meeting and event staging products and services such as audio, video, lighting, staging, virtual meeting event solutions as well as video production services to corporate meeting & event planners.
- Strong prospecting sales skills to locate new business coupled with strong relationship skills to maintain and grow existing business.
- Aggressive, action-oriented and results-oriented with strong verbal presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
- Demonstrated history of building long-term relationships, consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas.
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
- Excellent account management skills with experience using CRM tools to document contacts, leads and opportunities.
- A team player that works well in a collaborative and team focused environment.
