IT Help Desk Technician

TierPM, an IT project management solutions firm, seeking to hire an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide End User Support at our client' s Richmond, VA office location.
The ideal applicant will have recent and expert level skills remotely supporting Windows 7/10 laptops/desktops, knowledge of Active Directory and GPOs, as well as experience supporting typical workstation software such as Microsoft Office.
***Note: This is a temporary 6-7 month contract assignment with opportunity for extension.***
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 2-3 years of recent experience as an IT Help Desk and/or Windows Desktop Technician.
- Experience in the remote support of Microsoft Windows desktop products such as Windows 7/10, SharePoint, Gmail, and MS Office 2010/2016
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Active Directory, GPOs, remote support tools, Must have fundamental data networking experience
- Superior customer service skills
Education and Certifications
- 2 or 4 Year College Degree is preferred or equivalent technical training
- Microsoft or A+ certification is a nice to have
