Are you  seasoned sales executive with a history of success selling solutions and services to the New York City movie and TV entertainment industry? If yes, this one may be for you!

A leading provider  of audio visual and IT technology solutions such as lighting, audio, video and IT computer rental equipment,  is seeking a seasoned Account Executive  to sell entertainment related technology  solutions to  production houses  and  studios in the NYC region.

The ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of the regions production house and movie/tv  studio market  as well as a significant book of business in the area.

Responsibilities:
  • Primary focus would be to grow new sales of audio visual and IT  technology specifically for entertainment industry clients such as studios and production houses.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities by cold calling, client visits, networking, lead generation culminating with  proposal submissions.
  • The ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of client needs within the region' s  entertainment industry.
  • Travel to meet with potential new clientele in person.

Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated professional solution and services  sales experience  in the entertainment industry including movie and TV  studios and production houses.
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environment.
  • Effective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level.
  • Ability to utilize search engines and other business resources to gather relevant data and facts, and able to synthesize and apply the information appropriately.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis as needed.
