Sales Executive - Event Technology

A leading global manufacturer of electronic technology for the AV rental and stage industry has an exciting opportunity for a sales hunter who has expertise selling to the AV rental and stage industry. This position can be located anywhere within the western portion of The United States.
- Build a sales pipeline of viable AV event industry leads through cold calling and other new business development activities
- Follow through, negotiate quoted projects to close orders
- Build and maintain high visibility with key accounts and establish relationships with key employees at these accounts
- Maintain a solid understanding of the industry and products through continuing education and research
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers that will include distributors, end users and other accounts that directly influence buying decisions
- Become a known commodity for the company within the industry and across the western United States.
- At least 6 years experience selling technology products to the AV rental and staging industry
- Bachelor' s degree is highly preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain a successful sales pipeline
- Proven ability to sell complex and technical products and solutions
- Ability to travel nationwide up to 75% of the time
